Requirements/Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Geoinformatics, Geography, Computer Technology, Social Science, or a related field.
  • A relevant professional certification is desired.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience in GIS, spatial modeling, and data analysis, preferably within the nonprofit sector or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced knowledge in GIS and Spatial Data Analytics to support health informatics projects.
  • Advanced knowledge in data analytics to derive actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Python programming, particularly using ArcPY, for effective data manipulation.
  • Advanced skills in remote sensing and GIS modeling for health informatics applications.
  • Familiarity with workflow automation tools to streamline processes.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation tasks.
  • Advanced skills in statistical analysis and modeling using tools such as R or Python.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as TableauPower BI, or Matplotlib/Seaborn to present data findings effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data extraction and manipulation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex findings into actionable insights for various stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail and timelines, ensuring project objectives are met.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Must possess strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with technology systems and informatics strategic planning to improve overall project management.
  • Demonstrated executive and managerial skills, including experience managing complex data projects.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of technology project management practices.
  • Strong leadership skills that include the ability to build effective teams.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Google DriveMicrosoft Windows, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency in working with specialized software utilized in the program.
