How to apply for a Finland visa
- Confirm Finland is your main destination. You apply to Finland if you spend the most days there, or enter there first when the stays are equal.
- Complete the application form using the links on the embassy site.
- Book a VFS Global appointment in Abuja and bring originals and copies.
- Give your biometrics: fingerprints and photo.
- Pay the fee and the service charge.
- Track the application and collect your passport. Check the visa dates and number of entries.
Documents for a short-stay visa
- Passport valid at least 3 months after your planned departure, with two blank pages.
- Two recent photos that meet the Schengen standard.
- A cover letter that explains your purpose and your plan.
- A flight reservation and accommodation or an invitation letter.
- Medical insurance of at least €30,000.
- Bank statements for the last 6 months and proof of work or business.
- An employer leave letter or business registration to show you will return.
Residence permits
