We are recruiting for the position of an experienced Fleet Officer at TAK Logistics Limited in Port Harcourt. This job role focuses on overseeing fleet management and ensuring the smooth operation of logistics activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain fleet vehicles, ensuring they meet the operational standards expected in fleet management.
- Coordinate logistics operations efficiently, applying your knowledge of logistics operations to ensure timely and safe deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations across all transport and supply chain activities.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance and repair schedules, optimizing vehicle usage in line with transportation management goals.
- Optimize route planning and scheduling to improve logistics operations, reducing costs while enhancing efficiency.
Requirements/Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are required to have a combination of qualifications and experience. 3 years of relevant fleet management experience in a logistics environment is essential, along with a Bachelor’s degree. Management will assess qualifications on a case-by-case basis, ensuring the right balance of operations management experience and expertise.
