Requirements/Eligibility
The following requirements must be met to be eligible for the fellowship:
1. PhD Conferral: Have had their PhD conferred on or after January 1, 2023, or will have successfully completed all PhD requirements by December 31, 2025.
2. Residency: Be intending to reside at Forrest Hall for the duration of the Fellowship (exemptions may be considered).
3. Outstanding Ability: Be outstanding early-career postdoctoral researchers with exceptional ability and resourcefulness.
4. Commitment to Mentoring: Have a commitment to mentoring and leadership within the Forrest Research Foundation community.
Eligibility Criteria
– Applicants must have had their PhD conferred on or after January 1, 2023, or will have successfully completed all PhD requirements by December 31, 2025.
– Applicants must be intending to reside at Forrest Hall for the duration of the fellowship, although exemptions may be considered.
– Successful applicants will be offered an employment contract at a Western Australian university and must commence employment within 12 months of being awarded the fellowship.

Prize

– Research and travel allowance of up to $12,000 for approved research-related expenses and conference travel.
– Relocation allowance of up to $10,000, including economy airfares to Perth for the Fellow and dependants.
