IJP Southern-African Journalists Fellowship Programme 2027 in Germany (€3,500 Stipend)
Brief Description
Applications are officially open for the 2027 International Journalists‘ Programmes (IJP) Southern-African Journalists’ Fellowship Programme. This two-month initiative invites up to five young African delegates to live and work in Germany, gaining direct experience within a German host newsroom while covering stories for their home media outlets. Designed to bridge political and cultural detachment between Europe and Africa, the bursary honors former German Federal President Horst Köhler for his commitment to African-German relations. If you are selected, you will attend an introductory conference in Berlin before joining your host media organization. Successful applicants receive a fixed stipend to cover their major expenses throughout the stay. You can secure your spot by applying for this Germany journalism fellowship 2027 before the official closing date.
