Shortlisted candidates complete a 30 to 40-minute preliminary interview. Following this, you may need to submit your recent PhD program transcript, three academic references (excluding current IMF staff), and a research paper or dissertation chapters. Finalists attend an in-person panel interview with senior IMF economists and a Human Resources officer, alongside a 90-minute written assessment.
