Manitoba PNP Targets 417 STEM Professionals in New Draw

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program issued 474 Letters of Advice to Apply for provincial nomination on September 24, directing the bulk of its invitations toward technology and engineering professionals. Skilled workers in natural sciences, engineering, architecture, and information technology secured 417 of those invitations, while the remaining notices went to healthcare, francophone, and strategically recruited candidates.

The latest selection round, designated as draw #280, set a cutoff score of 760 for the Skilled Worker in Manitoba pathway covering the targeted STEM occupations. Alongside the technology block, the program issued one invitation to a family physician under NOC 31102, and 16 Letters of Advice to Apply to francophone candidates who demonstrated French proficiency through approved language tests. An additional 40 candidates received invitations through strategic recruitment initiatives across five eligible recruitment missions, spanning both in-province and overseas pools. Out of the total 474 issued notices, 148 candidates held valid Express Entry profile numbers and job seeker validation codes.
