Requirement/Eligibility
1. Applicants must be mid-career journalists or filmmakers based in Nigeria, with 3 to 5 years of professional experience.

Duration/Stipend
The Climate Reporting Gap Fellowship runs for approximately 10 months, from August 2025 to June 2026. It offers a comprehensive suite of support to enable in-depth, high-impact storytelling:
Funding Support: Fellows will receive grants between £3,000–£5,000 to cover story development, travel, equipment, and production expenses.
Mentorship: Each fellow will be paired with a dedicated editorial mentor, providing one-on-one feedback throughout the production journey.
Workshops & Training: Fellows will attend a mix of online sessions and an immersive training residency in Colombia, focusing on climate reporting, community safety, data journalism, and impact storytelling.
Global Promotion: Completed media pieces will be distributed and promoted internationally, with the support of One World Media’s global network and partners.
Alumni Network Access: Fellows become part of One World Media’s prestigious alumni network, offering ongoing exposure and future opportunities.
