RICH Hub Climate AI Innovation 2026 for African Innovators ($200,000 Funding)
The 2026 RICH Hub Climate AI Innovation initiative is currently open for expressions of interest. Led by The Research & Innovation for Climate (RICH) Hub, this program invites African climate AI innovators, researchers, startups, organizations, and solution developers to join a growing pipeline of projects advancing climate resilience across Africa. If your work leverages data and artificial intelligence to tackle environmental challenges, this is an opportunity you want to explore.
Brief Description
Climate change poses serious challenges to sustainable development across the continent. While artificial intelligence and data-driven technologies offer powerful tools to strengthen climate resilience, many promising initiatives struggle with barriers to adoption, implementation, and scale. Through this call, The Research & Innovation for Climate (RICH) Hub aims to identify high-potential African climate AI grants and innovations already tested in real-world settings. Selected participants can access comprehensive technical support, coaching, research opportunities, ecosystem connections, and potential scaling grants of up to USD 200,000. Whether you run a growing startup or lead a research team, your project could secure the backing it needs to scale its impact.Name of Host Institution
