To be eligible for this career development opportunity, applicants must hold a minimum of a second-class degree from an accredited university (graduating between 2023-2025). Strong analytical skillsMS Office proficiency(especially Excel and Word), and fluency in both English and French are required. The program is offered across six key locations in Africa: Accra, GhanaLagos, NigeriaDakar, SenegalKampala, UgandaLusaka, Zambia, and Nairobi, Kenya.

In this role, you will engage in financial forecastingmarket research, and client engagement, preparing materials like presentations and reports. You will also be involved in cross-functional teams that design and implement client solutions to drive business growth. Additionally, you will conduct due diligence, analyze business operations, and develop solutions to improve client performance and results. This hands-on experience will allow you to contribute directly to Open Capital’s knowledge base and thought leadership in the consulting space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial analysis, modeling, and research to support client engagements.
  • Analyze industry trends, market data, and competitor information.
  • Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and forecasts.
  • Develop and prepare presentation materials, reports, and client deliverables.
  • Work alongside senior consultants to implement strategic solutions for clients.
  • Contribute to research, competitive analysis, and business operations improvements.
  • Build relationships with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to promote business development.

Requirements / Eligibility:

  • A minimum second-class degree from an accredited university (graduating in 2023-2025).
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with analytical abilities.

  • Fluency in English & French is required.
  • Ability to solve complex strategic and financial questions, and strong business development mindset.
