Requirements/Eligibility Criteria
You must be an international student who will study in Canada on a Canadian study permit.
You must enter UBC directly from an accredited secondary school and be applying for your first undergraduate degree.
For the 2027 Winter session, you must have graduated from high school no earlier than June 2026.
You must demonstrate superior academic achievement, achieving all As or an equivalent academic standard.
You must demonstrate a significant level of financial need showing that pursuing a degree without funding is impossible for your family.
You must meet UBC’s general, degree-specific, and English Language Admission Standard.
Ineligible Degree Programs
The following degree paths are not eligible for consideration: Bachelor of Nursing (Okanagan and Vancouver campuses), Bachelor of Dental Science in Dental Hygiene, Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science, Bachelor + Master of Management, dual degrees, and joint degrees between UBC campuses or with other post-secondary institutions.
