Requirements/Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for funding, you must meet the following criteria:
Be an Indigenous individual or an official representative of an Indigenous Peoples’ organization.
Be actively engaged in promoting and protecting the rights of Indigenous Peoples.
Demonstrate clearly how participating will contribute to advocacy efforts on behalf of your community or organization.
Require financial support to cover your travel, accommodation, and related attendance expenses.
Note: Applications from Indigenous persons with disabilities and Indigenous 2SLGBTQ+ persons are particularly encouraged.
Benefits
In accordance with United Nations rules and procedures, selected candidates will receive:
Travel arrangements for travel to and from the session location.
A stipend to cover accommodation and related living expenses during the session.
