Youth Ambassador Program: Empowering the Next Generation of Internet Leaders

Are you passionate about Internet governance and want to make an impact in your community? The Internet Society’s Youth Ambassador Program offers a unique opportunity for next-generation leaders to contribute to the future of the Internet. Each year, the program selects 15 young leaders to participate in training, advocacy, and networking opportunities that prepare them to influence digital policy and drive innovation for a better Internet.

This initiative not only empowers young individuals but also fosters global citizenship through community engagement in shaping Internet governance.

Requirements/Eligibility Criteria

  • Age: 18-30 at the time of application
  • Fluent in reading, speaking, and writing English
  • Comfortable with public speaking and communicating positions
  • Access to the Internet and required equipment during the program
  • Able to dedicate a minimum of 4 hours per week for the 12-month duration
  • Availability for weekly meetings and webinars (typically between 11h and 16h UTC)
  • Valid passport and ability to travel
  • Must not have previously participated as an Internet Society IGF Ambassador or Youth Ambassador

This program is designed for young individuals eager to engage in policy advocacy and enhance their digital literacy, ultimately shaping the future of Internet policy.
