Requirements/Eligibility Criteria

• Geography: You must currently live and/or have active impact in Egypt, Germany, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Switzerland, or Tunisia. (Applicants based anywhere in Germany must ensure their project creates tangible impact specifically in Eastern Germany).
• Age: You must be between 18 and 35 years old.
• Role: You need to hold a leadership or decision-making role in an active social or environmental venture or organisation addressing youth development. Employees or volunteers without leadership responsibilities are ineligible.
• Language Proficiency: You must possess sufficient English skills to participate fully, as both the programme and the Summit are conducted in English.
• Youth Focus: Your initiative must strengthen the agency and skills of young people, empower youth, be youth-led, or directly target youth as its core audience.

Selection and Programme Timeline

Applications undergo an initial eligibility check followed by reviews from the ChangemakerXchange team and community. Shortlisted applicants will take part in a 30, 45 minute online informal interview between 20 November and 19 December 2026. Final decisions will be announced on 13 January 2027, leading into a two-hour kick-off call in February 2027 and an in-person summit in mid-March 2027.
