The Collaborative Discussion Emerging Fellowship 2027 is an ongoing initiative created by the Interactivity Foundation to explore how creative, culturally responsive, and critically informed discussion helps build stronger communities. Offering a $6,000 stipend paid in three installments, this program pairs emerging leaders with Senior Fellows to take meaningful action over the course of a year. Requirements/Eligibility Criteria
Demonstrated commitment to collaborative discussion and/or strengthening democracy in a particular community.
Open to individuals from a wide range of ages, careers, identities, political affiliations, racial and ethnic backgrounds, religions, socioeconomic backgrounds, and lived experiences.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for the entire fellowship period, as the role requires compensated services to be performed in the United States (no employment sponsorship is available).
Fellowship Benefits
A $6,000 stipend paid in three installments.
Full scholarship to CDP Coach Training ($495 value).
Travel and expenses covered for two in-person gatherings.
Completion of a real-world project bringing collaborative discussion skills and mindsets to a community.
Co-author credit on a deliverable such as a written piece, new curriculum, and/or audiovisual media project.
Monthly virtual meetings with a network of mentors and peers working in collaborative discussion and strengthening democracy.
No, selected fellows must already be legally authorized to work in the United States for the entire fellowship period, as the Interactivity Foundation is unable to provide employment sponsorship.
