Requirements/Eligibility Criteria

• You must be a citizen of any country outside the United Kingdom.
• You must be applying to pursue a full-time or part-time PhD, full-time MLitt, or an eligible full-time one-year postgraduate course at the University of Cambridge.

Funding and Financial Benefits

When you secure this Fully funded UK scholarship, your financial needs are comprehensively met. The award covers the full University Composition Fee at the appropriate rate, alongside a maintenance allowance for a single student set at £22,050 for 12 months at the 2025-26 rate (pro rata for shorter courses, and up to 4 years for PhD candidates). Your package also includes one economy single airfare at both the beginning and end of your course, inbound visa costs, and the Immigration Health Surcharge. Beyond the core package, you can apply for discretionary funding, including academic development grants ranging from £750 to £4,000, dependent children allowances of up to £12,793 for one child and up to £18,244 for two or more children, fieldwork support, maternity or paternity funding, and hardship assistance.
