Joint ICTP-CCG Catalyst Facility Academic Writing Residency Program 2026

Brief Description

The Joint ICTP-CCG Catalyst Facility Academic Writing Residency Program is now accepting applications from scholars from Official Development Assistance (ODA) eligible countries. If you are a researcher based in the Global South with a finished data set and completed analysis, this fully funded three-week residency provides the dedicated writing time, structured environment, and expert guidance needed to convert your draft into a published manuscript. Hosted at the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in collaboration with the Climate Compatible Growth (CCG) Consortium, the initiative focuses on advancing research across energy, transport, climate finance, circular economy, and policy design. Every selected participant works directly with mentors to publish a pre-print and submit their final manuscript to a peer-reviewed academic journal.
