New Brunswick Immigration Draws Issue 678 Invites to Priority Workers
New Brunswick issued 678 invitations to in-demand workers across priority occupational groups between August 10 and September 18 through provincial immigration selections. Foreign workers, international graduates, and skilled professionals specializing in construction, manufacturing, IT, transportation, and trades are now eligible to advance their applications for permanent residence nomination.

The selections were distributed across the Atlantic Immigration Program and three streams of the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program, including the Skilled Worker Stream, Express Entry Stream, and Strategic Initiative Stream.
Invited candidates can now submit complete applications for provincial nomination through the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program or endorsement via the Atlantic Immigration Program. Those endorsed through the Atlantic program can apply to the federal government for an employer-specific work permit, while provincial nominees may qualify for a bridging open work permit. Nominees applying for permanent residence through a base PNP stream can also benefit from a faster process to apply for a bridging open work permit without waiting for an Acknowledgement of Receipt, under a temporary measure that took effect on June 9, 2026.
