- Summarise your trip in plain terms: purpose, dates, places and who you are meeting.

A Hypothetical Example
This is an illustration, not a real case. An applicant changed jobs two months ago and her statements show two different employers paying her. Without an explanation, the officer has to guess. A two-sentence paragraph in the letter, “I left Company A on 31 July and joined Company B on 1 August. Both payslips and my current employment letter are attached,” removes the question.

- Copying a template without changing the details. Officers see the same wording repeatedly.
- Writing more than one page.
